After a six-week trek from the North to the South of Vietnam, "Vietnam: Three Short Poems" took its first breath. Three glimpses, three brush strokes, three poems which summarize and magnify ongoing tales of Vietnamese culture, tradition, and history: a basket weaver's community, a monk's wisdom, and a family afflicted by agent orange.
